Be selfish in every opportunity
when you seize the opportunity.
When you feel the need
tossed up with greed
be selfish, when necessary.
Be selfish when you care
when you take up the test
when you feel the need for change
when you find the light yourself
be selfish when you want the best.
Nothing is impossible when you are selfish
when your ideas perish.
When you dream, collect, recollect many
when you see hope where there isn’t any
be selfish when giving up doesn’t exist.
You would say it’s unkind
to be selfish, it makes you blind
but being selfish has seldom been tried
in a world where we survive,
where wars prevail and hate is alive
because being selfish, is to unhide.
Being selfish is to be free,
free to fulfil all your dreams
to achieve what looks bleak
and to overcome what you seek
be selfish for what hasn’t been.
You don’t need to be harsh
to be selfish, it’s too hard.
Just let the world know
why you are here
when you make them hear
that you have no fear
being selfish is not a farce.

We are selfish

like their little big goals
when they trust us
when we climb the slope.
When we reach our lows
when we stand up on our own
we are selfish because we know
that to go is to grow.
We are selfish
because we are the same
because we know the game
and how it is played
because the attitude is to win
else everything turns to dust
and at it, we shall always be
